13:00 Church bells ring to announce the beginning of the fiestas.
17:00 Street hand ball (Pilota).
21:30 Presentation of the festeros and festeras 2017, Proclamation of the Fiestas and of the Pro-Festeros 2018.
Upon this dinner at the square (bring your own dinner). Once it finishes, prizes of the “street decoration” contest will be awarded.
23:30 Dance at the square by the band THE SOULOMONICS and at the end big “discomóvil” by WOW AUDIOVISUAL until dawn.
Monday 14th August
10:00 “Popular breakfast” at the square of the health center. Organised by Ajuntament de Llíber and the Club de Carreters de Llíber.
12:00 “Entrada de La Murta” accompanied by the music of dolçaina and tabalet.
14:00 Giant Paella at the square of the health center.
17:00 Street hand ball (Pilota)
18:00 Show-Coocking for children by the cook XAVI FORNÉS. The youngest will learn how to cook “coques”. Each one will have to bring his own baking tray.
After that, “berebar popular” for all the children who have participated.
21:00 “Popular dinner” at the square. With the colaboration of COOPERATIVA VERGE POBRA DE XALÓ.
*It is necessary to bring the tikets for the “cocas” (for sale in the town hall and shops).
00:00 Dance at the square by the ZEPPELIN BAND.

Festivity of the Virgin
07:00 Wake up call.
10:00 Street parade with EL BATACLAN.
11:30 Collection of festeros and autorities
12:00 Mass in honour to the Virgin with the CORAL DE LLÍBER.
14:00 Traditional popular races.
17:00 Street hand ball (Pilota).
21:30 Street parade, collection of festeros and autorities for the flower offering to the Virgin, accompanied by EL BATACLAN
Immediately thereafter procession in honour to the Virgin.
At the end, string of fireworks by PIROTÈCNIA TURÍS.
00:30 Dance at the square by LA PATO until dawn.
Wednesday 16th August
Festivity of Saint Roque
07:00 Wake up call.
10:00 Street parade by EL BATACLAN.
11:30 Collection of festeros and autorities.
12:00 Mass in honour to our patron Saint Roque with the CORAL DE LLÍBER.
Then/Upon this the holy bread will be distributed.
14:00 Traditional popular races.
20:30 Street parade, collection of festeros and autorities, accompanied by EL BATACLAN.
21:00 Procession in honour to Saint Roque, patron saint of the village of Llíber. When it finishes, firework display by PIROTÈCNIA TURÍS.
00:30 Dance at the square by SEVEN CRASHERS until dawn.
Thursday 17th August
Day of children and “carrosses”
07:00 Wake up calle.
11:00 Waterpark for the children
Theatre for children with the show “Quin dia més divertit” (What a funny day) by the group ESPECTACLES DAVID S.L., sponsored by honourable DIPUTACIÓN PROVINCIAL DE ALICANTE, within the campaign for dissemination of music and theatre 2017.
19:00 Big parade of “carrosses” and walking groups, accompanied by EL BATACLAN and LA BATUCADA COLP I REPIC.
*Please be punctual.
00:00 Dance at the square by the orchestra SCREAM.
During the break “correfoc” by COHET I CORDA.
*For a flawless “correfoc” with security, participants are encouraged to wear clothes, hat, gloves and low combustion glasses, as well as a good and respectful behaviour with other participants and spectators.
The Comissió de Festes de Llíber 2017 warns that it will not be responsible of the imprudences or bad use of “cohetes” by others during the pyrothecnic acts scheduled.
Friday 18th August
Festivity of saints Cosme
and Damián
07:00 Wake up call.
10:00 Street parade by EL BATACLAN.
11:30 Collection of festeros and autorities.
12:00 Mass in honour to Saints Cosme and Damián with the CORAL DE LLÍBER.
14:00 Traditional popular races.
18:00 Traditional band race.
*Motorcycles and bicycles are allowed to take part; it is necessary to wear helmet and a crochet hook.
21:00 Procession in honour to Saints Cosme and Damián.
Once it is over, string of fireworks by PIROTÈCNIA TURÍS.
00:00 Dance at the square with the orchestra LIMITE. During the break prizes for the “carrosses” will be awarded.
Saturday 19th August
Paella’s Day
07:00 Wake up call.
12:00 Preparation of traditionals paellas. We encourage all of you to wear your “blussons” from previous years. There will be free beer!
Afterwards, big “cordà d’aigua”.
Upon this there will be also a big AQUATIC SURPRISE for children and adults. Those who want to “take off” will need necessarily a big rubber ring or any other inflatable object to make use of.
*For a correct running of this activity with security, we ask to follow the instructions at any time, as well as a good and respectful behaviour with the other participants and spectators.
